A whole lot has changed in my life this quarter. In May, my priorities shifted big time. I trimmed my life goals and ditched many of the aspirations and activities I thought were simply distractions from my overall goals. For example, I decided to leave the world of improv and keep my work goals completely separate from my personal goals, focusing more on my personal goals. I changed a lot of my own behaviors, which in turn changed my goals. I can talk more about why in future blog posts. For now, here’s a list of my updated goals…

New:

  • Enroll in & begin taking classes at Reformed Theological Seminary
  • Research, pitch, launch new Christian portal website/blog
  • Launch behind-the-scenes Frontline video podcast
  • Retire the DC Derby podcast

Accomplished:

  • Consolidate blogs (personal, Evangelicious, Bibleicious)
  • Join a Frontline small group
  • Produce a short film for 48 Hour Film Project in DC this May
  • Begin attending Frontline regularly
  • Retire DC Tech podcast
  • Participate in the FIST improv tournament
  • Audition for a WIT troupe
  • Interview Nick Savoy for AOL Personals
  • Interview Marni for AOL Personals
  • Interview Anna David for AOL Personals

In Progress:

  • Re-read the entire Bible
  • Pay off & destroy credit cards

Pending:

  • Weigh 200 lbs.
  • Upgrade wardrobe after reaching ideal weight
  • Start riding my bike around town regularly
  • Begin flossing regularly
  • Begin a new dating relationship
