Mr. Don Knotts passed away on Friday at the age of 81. He wasn’t famous for his role as Inspector Winship in The Private Eyes, but that’s how I remember him most.
We lost another good one.

I was just randomly browsing band profiles on MySpace, and I found out that both The Sounds and Ladytron are playing the 9:30 Club in the same week!!! I get to see two of my favorite bands within 5 days of each other! I think I just crapped my pants!!!
The Sounds - April 10
Ladytron - April 14
Darren McGavin died today at age 83. He played the wisecracking newsman Carl Kolchak on the 70’s horror show Kolchak: The Night Stalker (probably my single favorite character ever on TV). He will be missed.
On a side note, I recently took the Underground Tour in Seattle, and the tour guide remarked how the second TV movie (The Night Strangler) was filmed down there. I own the two original movies and the TV series on DVD, so I’ll have to watch The Night Strangler again in honor of Mr. McGavin.
She postponed her trip. She might be here for my birthday. ![]()
If anyone cares, I finally posted pics from the wedding I shot in January on my website. Click here >>
In some ways, they aren’t as good as my previous weddings. I think it’s because I rushed through the Photoshop process and didn’t have time to tinker with colors, etc. One can’t be too artistic when shooting a wedding. You have to worry about what your client wants. Weddings are very commercial and somewhat boring to photograph. But they pay well.
This was my first time being the only photographer. I had to do the group portraits and everything. The poses aren’t very creative or interesting, but that will come with practice.
